I'm considering a BB10 phone. I'm always hearing how BB10 is tops in terms of security. What exactly, as an average consumer, can I expect in terms of security, encryption, etc.? With mobile Paypal payments through BBM on the horizon and other developments, I'm curious. I currently use an Android phone and am not thrilled about every bit of my info going to Google. Would that be any different with a BB phone?

For a "consumers", the advantage of BB10 is it is a fringe OS that "most" malware and virus won't work on. And if you encrypt the device and set a password, then accessing it will be a NSA level hack. But if you download Android apps or even BlackBerry World apps that need permission to access your contacts, files, network.... it's pretty much the same experience.

The horizon could be very interesting for BlackBerry....
