BB Z10 - inverted image overlaid on top of correct image

I received a new Z10 a few days ago and I haven't even been able to use it properly, having had to wait to go to the Vodafone shop to transfer my contacts from the old Curve's SIM to the Z10's smaller SIM (I would have thought there should be a way of doing this easily at home - but it appears not). Anyway, that's done, but half an hour later my screen became unusable because there are now two sets of identical images on it. The first is in the orientation you would expect. The second is laid on top, but inverted! No amount of turning on and off, swiping or expletives have helped. Having had a check on the internet, I can't find a solution either. Apart from returning it, does anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.
