[CrackBerry Question]

Have 2 BB Torch 9800s. One has a broken sim reader and is pretty battered . Other in perfect condition aside from this fault;

Red Light blinks. It won't turn on. Comes up with red cross battery when battery not inserted but on charge most times but not all times. Comes up with battery charging symbol when battery is charging but this happens really rarely (maybe once in 100 times you try it). Not recognised by PC (always says malfunctioned if you get that far) so no JLCmder or BBSAK or Apploader is going to help. Battery isn't the problem (Tried several FS-1s and even a DX-1, all genuine blackberry and known to be working). Tried holding reset buttons to no success. Nothing is working, any solutions otherwise I will use it as a donor for the working one? Thanks
