    What OS are you running? Do you have a lot of apps running? if so, which ones? How is your connection? Does it happen on both WIFI and your Vodafone connection?

    Might be a badly calibrated battery.

    Run the battery down, and when it dies out, remove it from the device for about five minutes. (Optional: Clean the connecting points between the phone and the battery) After the five minutes, put the battery back in and charge it up to the max.
