You cannot delete BBM. How are you so sure it is BBM using the battery? Which device do you have and which OS are you running? What other apps are installed? Are there any Android apps?

Hold your volume up and down buttons until you see the blue loading circle,

You don't have any current BBM chats, groups, or channels? The root cause may be completely different and unrelated, but I noticed that when I added those things to my BBM on the previous blackberry I had my battery experienced major draining and shortening of lifespan; I will say it was a legacy device though

Holding those facilitates screen shot. What do hard reset do? It won't erase my data, isn't it?

I've noticed that sometimes causes a battery drain. Either that or sending/receiving a location. Easy fix is to simply do a soft reset on the device. Press and hold the Power button key at the top of your device for a second or two, and then tap "Restart".

Thank u siff..i did the reset.it works but still it is using a percentage of battery..dont know why..because as I have disabled it from the parental control section.it shouldn't have used any part at all..anyways thanks a lot for your response.
