    After the update, my battery loses power very quickly. I was told before that the update will improve the battery performance but the only change was the battery losing power like hell.. any advice??

    Give it some time to settle in, even up to one week and you will see some improvement. It takes some time for things to stop updating and pulling information from all your amounts and stuff, be patient young luke.

    Normally, it takes 2 days for the OS to settle down. Give your device some time and it'll eventually start performing.

    Remember when you do a software update. Everything has to be indexed again. Like the users above said, just give it sometime.
    Try shutting off your device twice a day and starting it again.
    After about a week, things should get better.
    Alternatively you can upload a screenshot here to show us the battery usage.

    Starts with : Sunday 3:28 pm
    Ends with :Monday 4:18 am
    The percentage is 21%
    You should know this is under light usage, may be above the light usage alittle.
