Does the BlackBerry classic have the possibility to set the brightness on automatic mode? I'm greatly missing this possibility on my Q10.

The Classic IS on auto brightness by default. There is no off state for it.

Thanks, that's good news. Now I'm even more interested in 'upgrading' from Q10 to Classic.

Q10 does too have automatic brightness. I had one and upgraded to Classic for the bigger screen and for the bigger keys of the keyboard.
It is not a huge upgrade from Q10. I am more and more inclined to the passport.

I didn't really notice the automatic brightness on my Q10, but then the adjustment range must be not very wide, I assume. At night it is too bright, in the sun it is too dim.

The Classic is not a big update, but has some interesting items for me: toolbelt, slightly larger screen, wider brightness range and still it is a pocketable device.
