ATT Passport will randomly attach unwanted recipients when forwarding an email. How to stop?

If I try to forward an email to a desired recipient on the ATT Passport, the software randomly attaches other unintended recipients from my contacts list. I cannot find a way to delete them nor a way to prevent this from occurring in the first place. Solution?

The phone will SUGGEST contacts based on past email conversations. They're not being added unless you click on each name and they appear in bold.
