    Hello all
    As I m new in BlackBerry market, I just wanted to know why BlackBerry apps r not updating like android apps.. it's my first experience with BlackBerry before that I was using Android phones.. like Whatsapp in android market has 10.4 which was updated in last month and in BlackBerry it's on 10.3
    Is there a problem with my phone or u all have this same isse

    Apps that are available across multiple platforms aren't always updated at the same time. You may see major updates release together, but platform specific bugs and such often results in point updates that are specific to an OS. At times, a developer may chose to stop supporting a particular OS and updates stop altogether.

    I'm not clear on your comment regarding the WhatsApp version numbers...on my Z10 it's on 2.11.605.2, and on my Nexus 5 it's on 2.11.301. Unless you're referring to the actual Android OS versions, 4.4 (the latest available) and 4.3 (which is what the BlackBerry Android runtime on 10.3 is at).

    Oh. Now I see the post. Must have been a temporary problem with CB10.

    Anyway, as BlackBerry Guy said, an app is only updated when the developer decides to upload and submit the newer version to the app world. Some may submit to the play store earlier than on BlackBerry World, some may submit at the same time.
