I use a BlackBerry Passport and this is an android app. An earlier installed version using 1 Mobile, I uninstalled Bible (YouVersion) to be installed and maintained under Appstore. However, in AppStore it still says that the app is present on the device. And doesn't install from Appstore. I now try to reinstall it from 1 Mobile or Google playstore - it installs but doesn't open - also the logo post installation doesn't show on the home screen - just a black blotch.

I presume, there are some residual files. Can you suggest how I can remove these to reinstall correctly?

I also have a backup of the correct version, but can I just restore this one app back?

download Ghost Commander from Amazon app store or Snap and install. That will help you manage android apps and remove them completely.
