I would like to use my Bold 9900 a bit more, including the services of Blackberry Travel, but it appears to require BIS. Does anyone know if any US providers still offers such service?

Att maybe? I have a 9930 myself but it's on WiFi for now. I might be able to connect it to verizon if I wanted to.

AT&T did still use it recently. Haven't used one in a little bit but I'd check there. Many CB users still seen to be activating them with US carriers.

I think T-Mobile has a BlackBerry plan but it is not BIS. If you are on the Simple Choice plan ($50 or more per month), the Unlimited BlackBerry service is free. If you are on prepaid plan, then it is a $10 extra fee. The main difference is that it does not compress data usage. You will get access to BB World and BBM.
