Hi, my wife and I are moving back to the U.S. after being away for 10 years. I will not be able to wean her off of her Bold 9900 (US unlocked model). Are there any U.S. Carriers that still offer BIS plans that will let her get her Gmail and web access?

Yes. AT&T and T-Mobile postpaid definitely have it. TMO prepaid does too, not sure about AT&T branded prepaid. Simple Mobile--a TMO MVNO--also allows for BIS.

AT&T's unbranded prepaid service--Cricket Wireless--does not offer BIS. I believe neither does TMO's unbranded prepaid, MetroPCS.

Hey, welcome back home! My wife has a legacy BBerry on t-mo, BIS. Loves it to death. Just set her up with a Gmail.
