Android apps crashing on Playbook OS 2.1

How come I can't make half of the android apps working on this thing? Sometimes it's apps I converted, and most of the time it's apps that have been already converted and that others have said was working. Sometimes it's even stuff I found on Blackberry World!

I install those programs (skype, tunein and vlc for exemple), and then try to run them, and when they don't quit back to the desktop instantly (vlc), parts of the program crash and won't behave (skype, tunein).

I used to have tunein and skype on my first playbook, I know those two should work but right now all they do is crash. What the hell?

I don't recall that Skype ever worked on the PlayBook. A lot of Android apps were just never compatible.

The runtime is ancient on the pb. Maybe older apps will work but I'm sure no new or updated ones will as they need the newer runtime.
