Can someone please point me towards a site that explains the whole process of getting android apps to work on q10? I just switched from samsung to q10 and need some android apps for work.

You found the site, just do a search here. Plenty of help here. Once you read thru it, ask away

So I went to download the apk installer I read about on a thread here but it won't let me download to my q10. There's a drop down list and my 2 previous phones are listed but no way to switch to my q10.

Which OS is on ur Q10? Just type "myver" here on the comments, with a spacebar after typing that word. So it should show like this Q10SQN100-3/10.3.0.1130(mine)

I could really use a step by step process for getting android apps on my q10. I haven't used a blackberry since the tour and don't know the ins and outs of the blackberry OS

Search for the thread on installing Snap. It's quite simple and gives you access to the Play store.

I'll give that a try. Will the 10.3 OS make this process easier? Isn't that supposed to be released soon?

Snap is good, but does involve the sideloading process. To install the Amazon app store, just go to your settings, App Manager and allow outside apps to be installed, then visit here:

    http://www.amazon.com/gp/mas/get/and...UvbUpU10814829

On your phone browser and install it.

Thanks. Got the amazon app store, unfortunately the app I'm looking is in Google play. Guess I'll try snap.
