Trying to free up some memory on my Q5 so I can download the latest os update. I cleared out all the apps I don't use and was looking through my device storage and found a file with 400mb and was wondering if I can delete it. Location device/misc/android/LazyList.

    Any ideas?

Apparently it's an Android temporary cache file. I found I needed to free up about 1.5 GB for the 10.3.2 update on my Q5. Even then, I still got a low storage space warning before it was done. I used the Settings/Device Monitor/Storage list of apps by size and just kept deleting the largest apps I could until I had enough room. Connect your phone to a PC and use Link. It took me close to a hour to complete the installation.

Funny, my largest app is the CB10 app at 206.7 mb. That's larger than any of the other apps including bbm, Rbc, browser etc. And the lazy list file is larger than my largest app by over 100 mb.

I noticed that several of the apps I deleted including CB10 were much smaller after re-installed them. I'm currently showing 1.3 GB free after re-installing all my apps.

Didn't know that about the cb10 app.

I deleted another few apps and then cleaned out that lazy list file and updated from my lap top. Still didn't have enough room, had a delete a few more apps and try again. After 3 hours and 3 errors at 80%+ it's done. Guess we'll see if clearing out that file effects anything. Lol

If still didn't work you'll have to backup your phone, wipe it then update and restore

It took me three tries as well. You just have to keep freeing up more space until it can complete the update. I appreciated not having to loose all my settings and not having to re-do all my accounts.
