When I install apps from Amazon they ask for quite some permissions. I.e. Shazam asks for access to PIN and shared files. Furthermore in a lot of cases you see that the publisher is a person instead of a company. This raises questions. Since the phone contains delicate info (reason to choose BB), I can use some advise. Is it safe?

PS getting my Passport in a few hours.. :P

It is safe. On most of the apps that is.
