I've dropped my Z10 and now the (cracked) touchscreen doesn't work. Rather than having the screen replaced, I thought I'd take the opportunity to upgrade to the Z30. My issue is with replicating the data in my password keeper on the new phone. It doesn't back up on Blackberry Link. It seems my only option is to repair the Z10, note down the passwords (and there are LOTS) and then recreate them on the Z30. This will cost me extra $ to repair the phone simply to get the passwords off it. Does anyone have any other suggestions? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

    If the screen doesn't work:

Connect an mini HDMI cable to a capable monitor

    If the touchscreen doesn't work:

Connect a computer mouse using a USB OTG cable which are for sale on eBay for a few bucks

    Don't forget USB-OTG doesn't work with the Z10.

I'd suggest a Bluetooth mouse, but you can't pair without touching the screen...

No, the password file is encrypted and not user accessible (which is the main reason I uninstalled it immediately)

Switch the mother board with another Z10 temporarily.

Or, replace the screen. Get a screen with middle plate, YouTube has lots of help. Not expensive, or difficult, and you have a spare phone.

A new screen and bodies is like $12. Well worth fixing to get to those passwords.

Did you have cloud backup enabled in password keeper? If so, all your passwords should pull down when you've signed in on your new device.

Fix it yourself, get the passwords and then sell it. Very straightforward process to replace the screen.
