I plan to keep using my awesome z10 and also get a z30 when its available on att and I will use them for as long as they last. After that im torn, I can stand the thought of ever owning an apple product and im not too crazy about android. That leaves windows phone but that looks kinda boring so I guess it would be (sigh) android.

Was forced to use it yesterday, and in the end, it's not as bad as some people think. Going to switch over to landline. It works okay for me.

Well I'm still planning to buy a BB10 device as my next phone, regardless of what happens to the company. After that? It's hard to say because I try to make my phones (or anything, for that matter) last for as long as possible, and the market might look very different by the time I upgrade again.

If I were to decide based on what's available now� well it'd still be hard for me. I have nothing against the iPhone, but something about the aesthetic, both in its hardware and OS, doesn't really appeal to me. I can't quite put my finger on why, though. An Android phone? Well that hardly narrows it down - I am kind of drawn to the Galaxy S 4 for its screen and to the HTC One for its build quality, but I might buy a Nexus for the upgrades and its vanilla Android flavour, if I do go Android. I used to be much more partial to the Nokia Lumia line since Windows Phone 8 intrigues me as an OS, but after hearing about how Elop sabotaged the company, I wouldn't feel right supporting that.

So I kind of don't know for now. Hopefully it'll get easier by the time I'll have to upgrade from BB10, IF BlackBerry isn't around by then. Here's rooting that it will be.

Ubuntu phone looks intriguing but in reality I'll go for the least bastardised droid/linux implementation out when I do have to change.

I say Linux, I know android is already pretty much it and they share much of the same code, but anything Google touches these days is riddled with spyware to get you the latest and greatest adverts delivered for their monetary enjoyment.

As soon as I'm due for an upgrade I'll be going to Apple regardless, if by some miracle BBRY does survive I've had it with their corporate leadership. My organization all switched to Apple a couple years ago and I fought to keep a BB but am done supporting a company that seems to be devoted to committing financial suicide.

That's definitely a no $h!tter. I cannot believe how much trash comes to my wife's Android. I get almost zip on my old Torch, but maybe that's also because I don't have no gmail account, which seems to be required on an Android phone.

I would keep using my Berry until it reached its end of life. During that time I will be watching the developments in the different markets to see what the best option would be. I am curious to see what Microsoft is up since acquiring a phone division. I just hope I don't have to worry about any of it and Blackberry just continues on.

I was just thinking of this, and looking at the lumia reviews lol wp8 seems like the best option. I tried a 4s while waiting for the bb10 devices and wasn't a fan. Android is to loosey-goosey for my liking. I will rock my q10 till it falls apart though.

If it ever comes to the U.S., Jolla Sailfish. My Q10 is my first smartphone. I really wanted to avoid Apple and Android. Nokia might have been my next choice but who knows what it will become now that Microsoft owns it.
