Got a shock recently as I browsed Stats Counter looking for good news only to find bad news with the exception of Indonesia and
Africa until I came across Israel. What is BlackBerry getting right in Israel. On June the 6th BB was hardly a bump on
Stats counter and in the last few days it is 22%. Is this just testing or is there something good going on in Israel?

Interesting, but considering the source I wouldn't put too much faith in this. It could drop back into insignificance by next month.

StatCounter is not the most reliable source of evidence. Not entirely useless, but hard to take seriously.

Took another look, and discovered that if you look over the past 6 months that BlackBerry is actually still in fairly wide use in Israel, typically in the 20-30% range. I think the chart where they had dropped off might have been a data error.

I live in Israel and i can say that blackberry not really here. 99% of the market are iOS and android users, so i think that that info is wrong.

Please search this site for "statcounter" for explanations as to why its method of capturing data isn't reliable for much other than perhaps comparing to their own data and seeing trends (and this assumes they don't have errors, which they seem to have a lot of).

IDC and Kantar Worldpanel are the industry standards for good reason.

There's approx: 1.5M people in Israel using a BB10 Smart Phone.
About 2M iPhone users and approx: 3.5M on Android devices. It's all about math and population and how many people use Smart Phones in that country. BlackBerry is the 3rd most used Platform over there, and it seems to have a steady growth upwards.

Unrealistic numbers.... Approx: 10000 Blackberry users (BB10 and BBOS).
All others are iOS and android. if i see blackberry user it's once per week...
