    Since carriers seem to be moving away from BlackBerry and BlackBerry selling more devices to the consumers directly via shopbb and amazon, give us single updates like apple! No more carrier updates, have blackberry push the software releases themselves remotely via OTA and via Link.

    They can only do that if they take over global support for all of their devices. Unlikely for a trimmed down BlackBerry.
