Anyone think BlackBerry should consider acquiring Silent Circle? Their services are very well aligned with BlackBerry's.

I actually like that idea - not sure if Silent Circle will want this though.

Hope Silent Circle wouldn't sell out. BlackBerry isn't interested in true privacy. Meaning they give access to Governments.

    Different business case. :-)

Most users would see that as a sell-out, and would probably abandon the(ir) services...

Do you all feel that BlackBerry has "sold out"? I personally still feel confident that BlackBerry is true to their privacy and security roots, on BES of course. I don't see why people would feel otherwise.

Sometimes the only way you don't get propaganda as news is through political dissidents and underground reporters. I respect a lot of those guys. At least most of those guys are telling the truth as they see it. I don't agree with many, but can respect them. I'm not talking about uni bomber type dissidents either. I think you get my point.
