Tell me the part you don't understand and I will gladly help. You are telling me Apple has way more money than Nokia which is fair. I am telling you Nokia was the king back then but now nowhere to be seen in the handset business. Having a lot of money won't be able to save Apple if the boring overconfident attitude don't change. That's all.

To be honest Apple is not the best of example of an overconfident management of a tech firm. To me - RIM was; they were so confident that people will not buy the iphone because it does not have a pkb and consumers don't need more than 2g connection speeds

The idea that Twitter is a "dominant social media service" is part of what's deluding people into overvaluing it.

Twitter is more like a FAD, dominated by Corporations, Celebrities/Stars, and Journalists.

The user base isn't that large, and user growth on the service is anemic. User engagement is also pretty pathetic, with the majority never Tweeting or even engaging with tweets (Like, Re-Tweet, Share, etc.).

This also makes it a fairly mediocre platform for advertising, as well.

Another thing I've noticed is Twitter's pretty poor way of handling pornography. I did a search for a Figure Skating competition a week or so ago, and was inundated with Pornographic User Avatars, Pictures, and even Hardcore Sex GIFs and Videos... which Auto-Played.

As far as the younger users are concerned... Twitter is a FAD of the past. The vast majority of people I know use Instagram in the way Twitter is used by many others... Except they talk to each other instead of spamming a celebrity hoping to get Re-Tweeted.

Only chances for that happening is if Chen sells his soul to the devil for getting the Cash to do so, if they merge twitter with BlackBerry Messenger they will grow sales in Indonesia!! (a joke before everyone here starts yelling like angry mammas)
