This seems like a good market for a modified Z3.

Or just make it so the camera disables itself when it is in certain locations (allow bes admits to set location of the office and have it so the camera doesn't work in that area)

Why don't oil companies support devices with cameras? Just curious to know

Most places have infra red cameras to catch small fire or heat detection. Some time possibly flash of camera misleading them for false alarm.

Very true, but the need is still there none the less.
Might not be cost effective to run it this way, especially given BlackBerry's current run rates in general. Wonder if they could command a premium for such a niche device? Even though it seems a bit counter to yank the camera and then charge more.

I have friend who was a software developer in the defence industry(missile guidance). If he was caught with a phone with a camera, enabled or not, he would of been escorted from premises and end up in deep do do

That's true to an extent. Where I work you get a warning with a two year probationary period. Screw anything up again within two years and you get walked out.

With how small the market is, it is not worth the time or resources for BlackBerry it would require.

I had a sticker put over my camera a couple weeks ago while visiting a vendor. The sticker fell off and I had to put it back on. Plus they only covered one of two cameras. Made me feel very confident that our nation's secrets are being kept very secure.
