Are they saying you'd use your iPad as a Wii type controller?
If you have your Tablet in your hands, isn't the size equivalent to that of the tv given the distance difference?
I use the ATV2 for streaming content and use my Logitech Remote to control my AMP/TV/ATV/CABLE etc. Its a better setup that using my iPad to control the ATV and you can't adjust the volume on the AMP etc.
Do what? Develop a proprietary protocol and proprietary $100, 720p adapter (which is really just an 8GB iPod/iPad without a screen and an HDMI port) to mirror a 4:3 tablet screen output to a 16:9 widescreen TV? Could be that they plan on using DLNA to do the same thing with standards.
