When is MMS coming out?
They said later this summer. Summer is almost over. It truly is some BS when you have the most advanced phone on the market on a network that blocks it from doing a very basic function.

Just to clarify, I do believe RIM will have a similar browser out by then (supporting Flash too, it seems).
AT&T did say "at the end of the summer"...just not which summer...
But both will eventually get there!App Version: 5.0.0.328

Even if AT&T was ready, Apple needs to release the updated carrier file for it.
Hopefully this all happens on Sept 9th.CrackBerry.com Mod | Retired Android Central Mod | Tech Enthusiast

I know you're just posting what is, but come on, do you have to rain on their parade like that?
All that matters is that RIM is progressing forward. We can't expect them to have a complete overhaul overnight. The code-writting takes lots of time and even more for testing and bug-hunting.
I know it's off-topic, but I don't see how more "advanced" the mobile browsers can get. Maybe more support of standards behind the scenes...App Version: 5.0.0.328

They said end of the summer. So AT&T might put this thing all the way to Sept 22nd. LOL. Idiots.
Who cares which device is better? Isn't all that matters is that it's the best one for you? - 08-20-2009, 02:00 PM #13
I bet it will drop after the iPod event in spetember.
I hope.

Not raining on their parade. RIM should of had a half decent browser long ago. The BB browser has basically been the same for years. They need to create something better, and they have had time to do it. No one is asking for it to be done overnight, they have had years. The BB browser has been sloppy for so long.
I mean more advanced by adding more features. Better code. I don't expect Mobile Safari, Chrome and Palms browser to remain the same for a long time. They will come out with something better while RIM is catching up to a browser that has been out for over 2 years, 3 at that point.
I wish RIM luck. I love BBs, I will never get rid of my Bold. It's just time for them to pick up the pace with their software. - 08-20-2009, 08:35 PM #15
