I have the older VLC app on my iphone and ipad. the original version of the player before apple pulled it off the app store.

Anyway, I synced some .avi files to my ipad the other day and they played fine..except there was no audio...

the file works on the vlc on my computer and it works on my iphone...so is there some special reason it wouldn't be working on my ipad? Thanks!

Have you tried flex: player? Another freebie and does similar to VLC. I understand there is an iPad version - I have it on my iPhone.

i have the app on my ipad2 now...and it's worked before so idk what's going on
