Any word on whether the full untethered jailbreak is out or not for 5.1? I did google it today but all I found was a semi-untethered version which I thought wasn't fully ready yet so I passed considering the I went through with the 5.0.1 jailbreak which caused my springboard to continuously crash randomly.

I went ahead and tether jailbroke my 5.1 iPod 4g yesterday and all is well. No issues that I have found. Haven't found the need to reboot away from my computer yet.

I wouldn't have updated to 5.1 and lost my jailbreak if my phone hadn't bricked itself. Now I'm paiently waiting for the stable untethered jailbreak like everyone else on 5.1 :/

Two weeks since tethered jailbreak on my iPod 4g 5.1. Still no need to reboot. Installed plenty of cydia stuff with many resprings. Working great.

lulz, i used to get my hopes up too. words of advice, don't. just causes further frustration

personally, i am beginning to think that Apple is starting gain an upper hand in the cat & mouse game

gone are the days of a geohot or comex. probably never see anything like them again

iPod 4g turned itself off when battery got to 2% this morning. I was pleasantly surprised that it started right up on its own with a charge. I thought I would have to do a tethered reboot since I used the the tethered jailbreak.
