After upgrading to my wifes iPhone 3G to OS 3.0 and now 3.1 her threaded texts disappear when she exits the text screen.
When she comes back into the text screen, she has to start a whole new conversation again... then it disappears too.
Anyone have any ideas on why this is happening? Pre OS 3.0 her threads were always listed and never disappeared unless she deleted them.
do you mean os 3.01? 3.1 isnt out yet. you might try to restore the phone as new and see if that helps. i'm not sure if there is a setting that would delete the messages after you close the screen.

Exactly, when i close the screen all threads are deleted! I looked through the settings but there isn't anything you can set.
I guess I will try to restore the phone to new and see if that solves the problem.
