Default Is there any advantage...

Is there any advantage from purchasing an iPhone 4s from apple.com versus att.com?

I am a business premier member.

Thoughts?

I don't think so. When I used AT&T I bought my iPhones from Apple. I also preordered my iPhone 4 through Apple which was linked from VZW for existing customers (I got my iPhone 4 about a week before it officially released).

Apple supports the product either way.

Not really. I bought both of our iPhone4S from sprint. Only difference is that apple store gives you 30 days VS sprint's 14 day till you you can return phone

There shouldn't be any difference. If anything goes pear shaped with Apple products, you deal direct with Apple. They are brilliant.

Yep if anything ever happens to the device, go to the Apple Store is one is available in your area. The experience is 100000000x better than dealing with carriers.

If I were you, I would purchase it from Apple.com. AT&T has been screwing over people. Its a whole big mess!

I'm with AT&T and I preordered via the Apple website. The whole experience was very smooth.
