PDF files save in iBooks. For other types, you need an app, and there's tons of them out there, including ones that lets you transfer through Wifi. I use something called Air Sharing. You can read the documents fine though if they come through email.
How can I configure Google Docs to store my docs on my computer rather than on Google's servers?
I read that this is possible but it didn't say how to do it.
