Well installous let's you get any app for free, if you don't want to use it you don't have to

This is not an issue. What's the difference between ios 4 and 5? Imessage and facetime and some other under the cover improvements?

It sounds great in a forum to point that out to make a point, but in reality IMO it doesn't really make a difference.

But you would want to have the option to be able to upgrade to the os once you get a phone. Bold came out in august and isn't going to get qnx? Really? That doesn't make a difference?
