All that being said, I am told the thing I will miss the most is that iPhone does not have a "Bedside" mode, or allow for different sound profiles, other than Ringer or Vibrate, and however those two are set up.
My first question is this: IS THIS TRUE!? That's gonna be a major PIA.
Second is that if this is true, has anybody developed an APP that will cure what's gonna ail me?
Thank in advance. I am hoping somebody can help make my transition a little less painful. | That's it, two choices. You can go in and modify each program to have certain settings i.e. phone ring/vibe, email vibe only, text silent, etc.
One trick is to load a "silent" ringtone so you can make certain programs vibrate only, regardless if you have sounds on for others.
If you jailbreak your phone, apparently you can get sound profiles back.
You get used to it. Believe me I was a hardcore BB guy, but after you see what you gain, you won't care. It's about a 90% gain vs a 10% loss in features and functionality.
