That statement cannot be over-emphasized. If you do end up using Ebay to sell your phone be sure to protect yourself. I hardly ever use the service anymore because of the scammers, but when I do I always set it up as a Best Offer sale. That way I can use the potential buyer's feedback in determining which offer to accept. I have taken lower money before when it came from a buyer with a more solid history of purchases on Ebay.

As already mentioned I would suggest iTunes and complete restore.
