Restart

If that doesn't fix it, backup your device and restore the OS.

If that doesn't fix it, schedule a genius bar appointment.

Also, not a good idea to fully drain an iPhone battery. It seems to behave differently than any other cell phone battery I've used before. It loves bump charges and hates full discharge.

...it is still not a brilliant idea to let it drain all the way down. Just like putting petrol in your car, never let it to get to total empty

ok, i hear so many different things about letting the batt drain all the way down, or not too--and they conflict each other.

What i've heard is once a month you should let it drain completely and give it a fresh full charge. But any other time you can charge when ever needed, like if your the type to not like letting your battery get down past 25%.

i can say that when i first got my 4S last Friday, my batt life wasnt great, i let it drain till it shut itself off, i left it till it was charged 100%, and i've seen my batt life has been better since. I last 15hrs. with 4/5 hrs of usage, and at the end 10pm i plug in still with 25% or so.

I've only had my iPhone 4S for about 10 hours or so. And thus far yes, the battery is terrible, and I haven't even played with Siri yet...

This morning I restored it as new (Last night I loaded a backup on it), and I'll use it today to see how it acts...

foxpat220022, I've had mine on sound since I received it. I guess I should test the vibrate option, too...

Sorry to say this, but, I do like how 'vibrant' the vibrate is on the BlackBerry BOLD 9900
