i was really hoping that with the new iphone that apple would put a notificaton light in like the blackberry has, is it just me or was anyone else hoping to see it to?

I am hoping to see an LED notification light as well. Doesn't look like we will see one according to the leaks.

Yeah. The light is so cool on the BB. I just glance over to see if anything requires attention.
It would be great if it was on the iphone but probably no such luck

BUT, Then I quite enjoy not being as paranoid about checking to see if the LED's flashing every 5 seconds like I do with my 9520.

So maybe no LED will be doing me a favor! Lol

I cannot use any phone without the notification...I am not going to constantly check the phone...it should alert me.

I totally agree, the push features on the iPhone arent that great and i reallly dont like checking for email all the time.

The flashing lights are what I miss most about the BB (but that's the addiction) and the multitasking - see what the new OS has in store or else I will be back again

When I first left the BlackBerry world (still have my BOLD 9700 in a draw; backup) I really missed the RED light.

But, now, I really don't care for it, or even miss it. I will say this, I would like for NON-jailbroken phones to have the bar at the top that shows new email or new chat notification with symbols
