    I constantly notice people using phones with AT&T including blackberry, yet my iPhone 4 has no service. Whenever service is weak my iPhone has 0 service, but my friends with blackberry all have 2-3 bars.

    Does the iPhone 4 really have that bad of an antenna or is my phone just broken?

    I assume the former.

    Are you holding the phone in a way that you touch the No no spot(gap at the bottom left) then its just the design of the antenna.

    If not then your phone might be lame.

    The iPhone does tend to have problems in fringe areas compared to other phones, but what you describe does seem extreme. I would have it checked out.
