fake for multiple reasons. The biggest being no ad agency is going to break their nda with one of the largest cell carriers with this. Another fake rumor fuels the fire right before the conference.

.... really have given up on it ever coming to Verizon or if it does Verizon will probably lock parts of it so you dont get full use of it

My hunch is, this is the wrench in the system for Apple/VZW. They have made it known their ENTIRE goal is user-experience. They made that painfully clear most recently with Adobe. If it changes the user-experience in any way not intended, its a no-go.

Releasing an iphone that cannot talk/surf at the same time might be considered by them a huge user experience alteration.
