i have tried all kinds of settings and i cannot get MMS to work on my 3gs on tmoible.

does anyone have a working iphone 3gs on tmobile and can use MMS?

did you download mms and tethering for tmobile from cydia???

that seems to do the trick most of the time..but make sure after you download it turn your phone off and then back on ok

I have a 3G wit the 3.1.2 FW. These are my settings for MMS.

APN: Wap.voivestream.com
MMSC: 216.155.174.84/serlets/mms
MMS Proxy: 216.155.165.050:8080

Then go into Cydia and search for "Legacy" install the first one. Restart phone and it should work. This works for me.

yeah, i have those settings, i can send a pic, but i cannot receive one back...says something about the size...

First have these settings in the mms fields.

APN epc.tmobile.com
MMSC mms.msg.eng.t-mobile.com/mms/wapenc



Now Go into cydia and in search type "legacy" Click and download on the first tmobile us settings item. INSTALL. Now shut off your phone then turn it back on and you should be good to go.

It adds a mms proxy
mms max message size and a mms ua.

??? probably going to purchase an unlocked iphone to use on a local carrier. Any information as to upgrading the OS should I be aware of to not "brick" the phone. Should it be jailbroken as well? Any good sites for information regarding this? Easy to do?

I called tmobile yeaterday cause I was able to send but not recieve. Tech was very helpful.
Told me go into cellular data and reset all settings
go into Cydia and search for Legacy. You should have 3 options, pick the second one.
Reboot the phone.
Go into cellular data and enter wap.voicestream.com leave all other settings
