Default Just curious, can anybody see the pixels on retina display?

I'm nearsighted, but when I take off my glasses, I can make out the pixels on the display, admittedly, my eyes have to be about 4-5 inches away from display. I'm curious if anybody else can see them.

336 ppi? You can see the pixels? Lol. Couldn't resist.

Its maybe your getting used to the screen so your seeing flaws, like watching a movie over and over. If that makes sense lol.

No one said you wont EVER be able to see the pixels. Go look at your HD LCD TV youll see the pixels if youre close enough to it too.

There's a standard distance away from the screen where it's tested at. Of course at a few inches away youll see pixels no matter how dense they are.

I can see the pixels if I hold it 1-5 inches away from my face. I usually hold my devices like 12 inches away though and I can't see it that way. I can't even see the pixels on my Droid X/ Droid from that far away.

I'm not saying it's a problem. The screen is one of my favorite things about i4. My wife tells me she can't see them no matter how close. I was just curious. For me, over 5 inches, it looks perfectly smooth, and it's not like I hold it that close to my face during normal usage.

I'm laughing as I picture people across North America holding their phones half an inch from their eyes.

Right...cuz I can't see "pixels" or anything else, with the screen that close to my eyes.
