Yes and no Siri. All apps and iMessage works. iMessage is for every device that can run iOS5.

Awesome! Thanks! What would my iMessage # be since it doesn't have a phone number?

It would be an email address that you register for iMessage. It is done right in the iMessage settings.

For the iPhone, people can either message my number or email and it will be an iMessage as long as they have iOS5.

Great feature. I don't want an iphone but I love the apps and iMessage. They're pretty inexpensive too.

The screen quality on iPods are not as good as iPhone. This is consistent across dozens that we use at work.

But other than that, yes, all you're really missing is cellular connectivity. Most apps will work fine.

Ok, thanks for the tip. I'd just use it for apps and iMessage. Can it get on the internet too though?

Yes, wherever you have access to wifi. Also, you need wifi access for iMessage to work.

Yep, like app_developer said, you need WiFi for internet access and for push notifications and iMessage to work.

I just got one for the youngest a couple days ago. I was surprised at how unimpressed i was. Anyway, it's ok but nothing major to right home about.
