Hello,

I was playing around with my co-workers iPhone 4 today and setup my email account to test out functionality. I have my own domain so I use the "other" email setup config using IMAP. Everything works well, however it appears than other than opening the email app each time I am limited to only having the email check every 15 minutes at minimum using fetch. Is there any way to have this check like a BB does using IMAP idle? I have a BB now and am used to instant delivery. Do I have any other options?

Just curious as I am considering an iphone in the future.

On the iphone I think you need to have an exchange server set up in order to get the email pushed.

I've heard people using the technique of having their imap email redirect to a gmail account that does provide an exchange server.
