Since it looks identical to the iphone 4, is it going to have the same reception issue because of the antenna? (Like how the blackberry tour to the blackberry bold 9650 had the same exact everything except the touchpad) I no the question might sound dumb but I haven't read an answer about it yet

If it has the same antenna, then yes.
9630 to 9650 wasn't that bad. The bad one was 9700 to 9780.

that's what I'm saying, like blackberry uses the same identical form factor over. And the iphone 4 and iphone 4s look the same, but I hope they fixed that

True, but that's usually for releases within a year of each other. And while CrackBerry members are probably an exception, most people don't upgrade till their contract is up. So people who bought a 9630 upgrade to a 9930, and people who bought a 9700 update to
    a 9900.
I doubt apple fixed the radio issue. We'll see though. Most iPhoners I know say they didn't have any noticeable problem.

They did say in the press conference that iphone 4s will have better reception. Whatever that means

It has two antennas that will fix whatever reception issues were there. I've had 3 i4's and had zero problems. From what I understand the two antennas switch automatically, one for making calls and one for receiving calls, the "problem" has been addressed.
