OK, so this issue appears to be all over the place in Apple Communities (and elsewhere) and yet the Company has shown no apparent interest in fixing it -

I'm referring to the all-to-often inability for either my iPhone 4 or iPad 2 to pull up (either in a stand alone page or, more belabored, via the browser) the logon page to free or corporate wi-fi networks. Sites like Starbucks free wi-fi are a prime example. It was rarely an issue with iOS 5, but its become a big issue since I 'upgraded' to iOS 6. The ability to so effortlessly sign-on to these log-on pages was one of the primary reasons I moved to iPhone.

Folks online have suggested 'Renew Lease' from within Wi-fi (never worked), a hard reboot (sometimes works) and a myriad of other tries - but nothing that actually seems to permanently rectify the situation.

Really, Apple? Could we possibly spend less time creating new, pointless iOS software and more time keeping your current software viable?

Works fine for me. Try "reset network settings" and see if that helps.
