Default iOS 5.0.2 and 5.1 On the way

Apple hard at work on iOS 5.0.2 to address battery woes; iOS 5.1 may enhance Siri

Thx for the news AP, I haven't read it yet, I'm about too. But I'm just thinking, as great as my 4S is running now(battery life & all), I'm kinda leery to upgrade the iOS when it releases just for the fact that I want it to stay as perfect as it is right now

any whoo, yea the general area is getting really bad here as far as the threads being created turning into bashing matches it really has gotten out of hand. TiPB is peaceful indeed

I abandoned HoFo years ago too.

Good news on the iPhone update. Will tell parents to be aware.

My dad uses his iPhone as his internet connection on his ancient PC. Tethers.

He went online to update his iP4s. During this process the device reboots, and of course interrupted the connection.

Brick!

AT&T couldn't restore. He had to go to a neighbors house to use their laptop.

next time he does an update, it gives you the option to download only, and then i believe you do the update. Or he could have done it OTA.
