I've never had a safari crash since iPhone 3g. Before that, I probably had a handful of crashes. Not big ones. One thing that Apple may want to do is limit the amount of tabs you can have. I find myself always closing it when it's above 3 tabs. This really helps as I never have crashes.

I had the Curve 8310 before my iPhone and I loved it, but the iPhone is like a bad boyfriend, even when he messes up I still love him more!
