Help pls!! - 12-13-2011, 07:25 PM #2
Do you have an iPhone running os5? If so just set up iCloud on your phone and your Mac.
iTunes will also sync your contacts back to the address book on your Mac.

All you will need to do is the following:
1. Synchronize the contacts of the address book on the Iphone.
2. After that you can look for merge option and click on it, or wait until you are prompted and then click on it.
Note that for you to synchronize the contacts on the Iphones address book you will need to have installed iTunes, and therefore if you have not you will need to get it and install. - 05-21-2012, 11:22 AM #4
Have you tried importing the contacts form the phone to google contacts then syncing then exporting them from there to a file on the computer then importing that into the address book.
Or you can also go through the info page in itunes for your phone and sync contacts from the phone to the computer that way by checking the box that says sync contact to then select address book.
Besides, i like to share you a article about How to transfer iPhone contacts from iPhone to iMac.
Hopefully this works for all of you like it just worked for me!Last edited by quitermarry; 06-03-2012 at 10:10 AM.

How to transfer iPhone contacts to my iMac?
Hi,
There is an even simpler way if you do not have IOS5 simply connect iPhone to your iMac, open iTunes, and under the info tab, the very top option is to Sync Address Book. Select this and alter the setup as per your requirements and hey presto, you have fully synced contacts..

Do you use Gmail?
I don't use an iPhone but everything syncs through to Gmail for me. I was able to set up my iMac's address book and calendar to automatically sync and my BB is the same. Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do. - 09-27-2012, 02:42 AM #8
As you know, iTunes can help you easily sync files from your Mac to your iPhone, iPad or iPod, but has nothing to do if you wanna transfer your iPhone music or videos back to Mac. So if you export music from your iPhone to your Mac computer or if you want to backup iPhone to Mac without iTunes, you need third-party iPhone to Mac Transfer to help you.
