    Is there a setting I can change so that the webpage appears on my iPhone thr same as it does on a desktop? Some websites have moble versions and I perfer not to use them.

    Most of them it takes you to the mobile site first. Some sites may have the desktop version somewhere on the page. If not usually what I do is re-type the address in and it takes me to the desktop version.

    Edit out the m before the site, example: m.cnn.com

    Or, edit the URL and take out /iphone

    such as yahoo.com/iphone

    If u are on a mobile version of a site, 9 out of 10 times on the bottom u can toggle between mobile/desktop view. Easy

    ^^^^and that is true. There are a lot of Sites that are mobile and have no choice of desktop view.
