Hello all, I did not take the plunge but my old iPhone is happly sitting in the dock. Anyways just wanted to know as we have people from all over here, how much does the iPhone cost where you are? If there is a outright purchase option list that or you can list your contract, convert local currency into US$ so everyone can get a fair idea.

Interestingly I just read the BlackBerry Bold is being launched officially here for 833 US$ thats the first time we are going to have a device so soon after international launch, and I think the price is not too far out.

We don't have an outright purchase option yet, but the iPhone when eligible is:

$199/$299, 8gb/16gb respectively

When not eligible (technically outright with a 2 year.):
$399/$499, 8gb/16gb respectively

All US currency.
