Hoping this is possible...need help

I have been using my ip 4s with the aux in my new vehicle that does have BT capabilities. I can use the BT for calls with the iphone however, is there a way to get the music working via BT instead of using an aux cable?

I guess my question is what type of vehicle?

It's a Chevy Traverse. Bluetooth installed. Why would the vehicle type matter? Shouldn't bt work the same in all?
