So im going back to the IPHONE for now.......im gonna get the 3g, then when stores start to carry the 3gs all the time I will add an extra line for a little over a month to get the 3gs for the new price. sell the 3g and cancel the extra line and keep the 3gs. the storm is awesome, but i have lost the war of waiting for a near perfect device........think my plan will work?

I use both devices and I find BB users to be much more stuck up. That's just me though. If you need help with anything when you get your phone, just let us know and we'll help you.
If you have a Apple store in your area, they generally have them in stock. I just had to wait in line for 2 hours at the Apple store near me but but they had several hundred of each one. At&t stores have not even got them back in.
I just bought the iPhone 3GS this morning at the Apple store, waited about 30 minutes in line. I was surprised. I figured the hype would have passed already. I asked the person who sold me my phone how they were selling and she told me they have been selling them almost non-stop since launch.
So far I love the iPhone, the screen keyboard is different but to be honest I don't mess up as much as I think I would have. I have to say the screen, UI, and apps are WAAAY better than BBs. I'm still using my 8900 but I may end up sticking with the iPhone. Who knows!
so you can cancel a new line that was used to purchase a 3GS after only one month? or is there a cancellation fee or something that goes with it? doesnt seem like you could add a new line, upgrade, then just cancel that line. i guess maybe because you would still be using the phone on anohter line with att? weird!

i dont understand how your plan will work because when you close the second line they will want the 3gs back or money for then phone.
no because it is then your phone....you bought it from them and as long as you close it AFTER the trial period and have to pay the fees to close the account you can keep it. otherwise they would even as for your phone back after 23 months of a 2 yr contract....
